Thematic tour Relief of Leiden<\/h1>\n\n

The Pieterskerk Leiden has deep connections with the history of the Relief of Leiden. Each year the 3 October Memorial Service takes place in the monument. In this tour you will learn about the unique bonds between the story of the Relief and the Pieterskerk Leiden.<\/p>\n

Educational tours for schools<\/h1>\n\n

The history of the city of Leiden starts at the Pieterskerk. Therefore it is our dream to welcome every child that is in a Leiden primary school in the Pieterskerk Leiden at least once.<\/p>\n

Free – guided tours for school groups
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each tour takes around 45 minutes to an hour. If the weather allows it the pupils can also visit the viewing point via the historic winding stairs. There you have a view of Leiden and on good days you can even see the sea and the dunes. Please make a reservation at least four weeks in advance.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n

Tours with a tourguidesystem<\/h1>\n\n

Our tour guides use a tourguidesystem. The tour guide has a headset-microphone and you can listen in through wired earplugs. In this way you can always hear the tour guide clearly throughout the entire monument. These throw-away earplugs are included in the price.<\/p>\n

It is also allowed to bring along your own wired earplugs, the socket is a standard mini-jack socket (3.5mm).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n \n
