In 2026, the Pieterskerk Leiden will once again be the scene of the Leiden Easter tradition par excellence: the performance of the famous St. Matthew Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach. The Nederlands Kamerkoor and the Residentie Orkest will play Bach’s masterpiece, conducted by Jan Willem de Vriend.
