Educational tours for schools
The history of the city of Leiden starts at the Pieterskerk. Therefore it is our dream to welcome every child that is in a Leiden primary school in the Pieterskerk Leiden at least once.
Free – guided tours for Leiden school groups
Each tour takes around 45 minutes to an hour. If the weather allows it the pupils can also visit the viewing point via the historic winding stairs. There you have a view of Leiden and on good days you can even see the sea and the dunes. Please make a reservation at least four weeks in advance.

Tours with a tourguidesystem
Our tour guides use a tourguidesystem. The tour guide has a headset-microphone and you can listen in through wired earplugs. In this way you can always hear the tour guide clearly throughout the entire monument. These throw-away earplugs are included in the price.
It is also allowed to bring along your own wired earplugs, the socket is a standard mini-jack socket (3.5mm).
