Route

The Pieterskerk Leiden is beautifully located in the heart of the historical city centre of Leiden. To decrease traffic in the historical city centre, passing car traffic is rerouted to ringways around the city.

Park & Ride  24/7
The Park & Ride – Haagweg 8 (Stadsparkeerplan) is located on the edge of the historical city centre. From there a free shuttleservice brings you to the Pieterskerk Leiden. To park in the historical city centre you can reserve a parking space in one of the four parking garages here.

Public transport
Walking from Leiden Central Station (CS) to the Pieterskerk Leiden takes around 15 minutes. From Leiden CS several buses stop on the Breestraat. From there you can walk to the Pieterskerk Leiden within 2 minutes.

Accessibility

The Pieterskerk Leiden is accessible to everyone and has a toilet for disabled visitors and guests. Visitors with a wheelchair can use a wheelchair ramp to the entry location and within the monument, as well as a stage lift to enter the choir. If assistance is required, our employees are happy to help.

The 17th century Churchwardens Room is only accessible via three steps and thus is not accessible with a wheelchair.

Service dogs
Service dogs and guide dogs for the blind are welcome, but have to be leashed inside the monument.
