The Vanished City part 1 & 2
The two city tours of ‘The Vanished City’ are based on the eponymous temporary exhibition of the Pieterskerk Leiden in cooperation with Erfgoed Leiden en Omstreken.
Guided by photographs made by the Leiden photographer Jan Goedeljee (1824-1905), you are transported to the Leiden of around 1900. Next to every photograph there is also one of the current situation in Leiden. These new photographs were made by the Leiden photographer and graphic designer Claudia Claas.
