The Managing-Director is responsible for the whole of the business operations of the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation. The Board of Supervisors has the task to supervise the policy of the Managing-Director, as well as the general state of affairs in the Foundation and the organization. The Board of Supervisors supports the Managing-Director by giving advice.

For the realisation of certain specific objectives the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation has founded the Friends of the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation. This is a consolidated foundation.

The Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation is a small heritage organisation with an annual income of ± 2 million euro’s; the salary of the Managing-Director is adapted to this.

The Board of Supervisors of the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation and the board of the Friends of the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation carry out their tasks without financial compensation.

The employees of the Pieterskerk Leiden Foundation are not included in a collective labour agreement (CLA); the general regulations of labor law apply to them.

The Pieterskerk Leiden applies the Fair Practice Code.
